     Christian Unzicker was Farmer And Gardener. He was educated; Home Schools Both In English And German. He was Indiv Note; Christian and Mahalia lived in Collinsville in an apartment above the general store owned by John Slonaker. After that they moved to a farm north of Collinsville for one year. Then they moved to a farm that was much larger and spent six years there. There Elmer and Mary Magdalena (Mamie) were born. They moved to a farm on the old Eaton Road northeast of Hamilton, where Bertha Lenora and Clara Susan were born. They moved onto the Scott place near Darrtown about 1880, where Jessie was born in 1882.

When Jacob Unzicker moved from the home place, he sold the south 80 acres of Stony Hollow to Christian Unzicker. They lived in the old Unzicker home for 12 years. Edna Estelle was born there. They lived three miles from the little town of Darrtown where the family attended Sunday School and Church.

Christian retired from farming in 1902 and built a home at 510 Maple Ave. at Oxford, Ohio, home of Miami University, second oldest state university west of the Alleghanies.

Christian Unzicker had been brought up in the Mennonite faith and the family attended the Mennonite Church where his father, Daniel Unzicker, was a minister.
