      Andrew Schrock was also known as Andrew Schrag.² Andrew Schrock was also known as André Schrack.³ He was Indiv Note; ANDREW lived about four miles west of Washington. They had to drive or walk about ten miles to take a ferry to get to Peoria. He started to build a large brick home, but passed away before it was finished. Young Andrew and Mary, who were young children, carried all the brick for this home, which is still standing with little repair. One night ANDREW stayed with a neighbor who had Cholera, the same night ANDREW bacame sick with Cholera and died before moring, leaving a family of small children, the oldest sixteen, the youngest was born after his death. One of the children in later years finished the large brick home, using the original plans, half of the second story was planned to be used for church services.¹ He was born on 5 January 1804 at Réchicourt le Château, Gondrexange, Moselle, Lorraine, France.^2,3,4 He was the son of Joseph Schrag and Marie Neuhauser.^3,5,2 Andrew Schrock married Anne Oyer, daughter of Jacob Oyer and Susanna Schertz, between 1831 and 1834.⁴ Andrew Schrock and Anne Oyer appeared on the census of 1 June 1850 at Washington, Tazewell, Illinois, USA.⁴ Andrew Schrock died on 5 August 1855 at Washington, Tazewell, Illinois, USA, at age 51 of cholera.
